To the Editor:

Tennessee Voters for Animal Protection—a non-partisan, grassroots political action committee—announced their endorsement of Lauren Biloski for Anderson County Juvenile Court Judge on Tuesday.

“Lauren Biloski has been a consistent advocate for animals through her animal rescue work as well as representing rescue groups in a legal capacity, said Anjie Crow, TVAP’s president. “If elected as Juvenile Court judge, Bilsoki plans to bring the H.A.B.I.T. program into Court, which would allow animals to calm children who are testifying. She would also be tough on juveniles who commit crimes against animals and get them the help they need.”

Last year, Biloski created the “Adoptable Animals at the Oak Ridge Shelter” Facebook page to help increase awareness of adoption and rescue, which organized volunteers and helped decrease euthanasia rates. She also serves on the board of Westie Rescue of Tennessee and has fostered numerous abused and neglected Westies.

“It’s important that community members get involved in creating a better environment for animals, and that’s exactly what Lauren Biloski has done throughout her many years of animal advocacy,” Crow said. “We encourage those who care about animals to show their support and vote for her in the upcoming election. Please visit her website at www.BiloskiforJuvenileJudge.com.”

Tennessee Voters for Animal Protection is a PAC that endorses humane-minded candidates, raises funds from concerned citizens to donate to political campaigns, and organizes volunteers to campaign for humane-minded candidates in Tennessee.
