Wanda Lee Duncan, age 70, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Monday, March 10, at Methodist Medical Center.
Mrs. Duncan was born May 25, 1943, in the Wheat community of Roane County. She was a lifelong resident of this area.
Wanda was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of family. Additionally, she enjoyed raising flowers.
She was a faithful Christian and a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Coker and Ester Mae Gilmore Coker; by a son, Ronnie Duncan; by a brother, Jimmy Coker; and by sisters, Mary Ellen Robinette, Opal Vann, and Lois Duncan.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Daniel Duncan of Oliver Springs; by daughters, Terry Webb of Clinton, and Donna Sue Morgan and husband Greg, of Marlow; by grandchildren, Danielle Webb of Clinton and Joshua Duncan of Marlow; and by a great-grandchild, Raiden Johnson.
She is also survived by sisters, Frances Coker of Oliver Springs and Geraldine Harness of Frost Bottom; and by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family received friends Wednesday, March 12, between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral followed at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Garvan Walls and Rev. Terry Braden officiating. Burial and graveside services were held Thursday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
