Nufamia Martin

Nufamia Martin, age 60, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

Nufamia loved many things in life, including being with friends and family, playing pranks, witnessing to others about the Lord, collecting antiques and coins, drawing, and animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kyle and Joyce Martin; grandparents, Mitchell and Alice Martin, and Dock and Edra Taylor, and several nieces and nephews.

Nufamia is survived by her life partner and caretaker, Deborah Matsubara of Clinton, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends who loved her very much.

Nufamia’s family received her friends on Sunday, Feb. 2, from 2–4 p.m. with her funeral service immediately following at 4 p.m., all in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton. Her interment was Monday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens.

Jones Mortuary in Clinton was in charge of all arrangements.
