Living Water Christian Fellowship of Oak Ridge has moved. Their new location is the Iris Room at ORAU’s Pollard Conference Center.

J. Tony Slay of Jacksboro, Tenn., will be their guest speaker this Sunday, Jan. 19. His daughters Amy and Rachel will lead worship.

Slay is founder and chief executive officer of Ministry International Inc. and of Ministry International Institute. MII is a helps and resource ministry for ministers of Jesus Christ from every background. Slay is bishop to more than 350 ministers in the United States, and he has trained and equipped thousands of ministers around the world, a press release said.

Serving in ministry since 1980, he enjoyed serving as pastor, has personally planted five churches, and has assisted in planting more than 30 others in the USA, the release said. Since 1994, Slay has ministered in 38 states and four continents, and he serves in outreach ministries, including as chairman of a countywide youth program, founding a daycare and Christian school K-12, establishing a Gospel radio station, and helping to build a full-powered television station. He has also been an adviser to Women’s Aglow and served on boards of children’s homes, domestic violent shelters, men’s drug and alcohol rehabs, and one of the largest food distribution centers to the needy in East Tennessee. As an author, Slay has written curriculum for two schools of ministry, one seminary, and Ministry International Institute. He is currently writing his fourth book.

Slay has ministered in Oak Ridge at various times for more than 20 years. His heart is summed up in Ephesians 3:19 that all would “know the love of Christ, which does pass knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.” He enjoys free flow teaching followed by a demonstration of God’s Spirit.

Living Water Christian Fellowship invites the community to share in this special service at ORAU’s Pollard Conference Center at 210 Badger Road. The service will begin at 9 a.m. Coffee will be available for early birds. Children are welcome though child care is not provided at this time. For more information, call (865) 382-4291.
