Robin Lynn Burress, age 50, passed away at her home in Coalfield on Dec. 21, 2013.
A longtime resident of Coalfield and formerly of Lake City, Robin was a member of Briceville Church of God, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Douglas and Anna Lou Sharp Bray; brother, Larry Bray; and sister, Kathy Bray.
She is survived by daughters, Amanda Burress and Brandy Burress; son, Doug Burress and fiancé, Courtney Rice; grandchildren, Michael and Braelyn Freels and Eli Burress; lifetime friend, Tommy Burress, all of Coalfield; brothers, Harold, Randall, and Patrick Bray of Lake City, Danny Bray and wife Judy, and Clifford Bray and wife Marika of Briceville, Kirk Bay and wife Tina of Medford, and Tommy Bray and wife Pam of Knoxville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, Dec. 23, at Big Mountain Baptist Church from 6-8 p.m. with the funeral service following. Bro. Houston Carroll officiated. A graveside service was held on Tuesday morning, Dec. 24, at 10 a.m. at Beech Fork Cemetery in New River.
