Larry Seiber

Larry Seiber, age 58, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012, at his home.

Larry was born September 3, 1953 in Oliver Springs. He is a lifelong resident of this area.

Mr. Seiber was employed as a builder in the construction business before his disability.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and playing the guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi Seiber and Martha Kay Kennedy Seiber; and by brothers, Clifford, Robert Leon, and Clarence Everett Seiber.

He is survived by four children, Tony Seiber, Tisha Hutchison and husband, David Hutchison Jr., of Powell, Joshua Seiber and wife, Sara, of Clinton, and Bethaney Seiber and husband, Dewayne, of Clinton; by grandchildren, Isaac Paul and Rachel Leah Hutchison, Abby Gail Grace Seiber and Emily Leeann Seiber; by sisters, Bobbie Phillips of Oliver Springs, Brenda West and husband, James, of Coalfield, Linda Lively and husband, Homer, of Oliver Springs, and Lisa Lively and husband, Fred, of Briceville; and by brothers, Eddie Seiber and wife, Angie, of Oak Ridge, Lester Seiber of Coalfield, Gary Seiber and wife, Patsy, of Petros, and Hubert Seiber of Coalfield.

He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and special friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 20, 2012, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charlie Marlow officiating.

Burial and graveside services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Frost Bottom Cemetery in Oliver Springs.

ORAU has raised more than $1 million over the past 10 years through this campaign. A total of $126,839 was pledged during the 2024 ORAU Annual Giving Campaign.
