Obituary: Wilma Jean Williams

Wilma Jean Williams, age 55, of Andersonville, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013.

Wilma was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church. She loved listening to gospel music, playing games, fishing, old cars, flower gardening, and being with her family especially her grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Williams.

She is survived by her mother, Joan Williams of Andersonville; daughter and husband Amy and Jason Bishop of Knoxville; son, Christopher Williams and Mandi Gosnell of Andersonville; and grandchildren, Summer and Jayden Bishop, Autumn Williams, and McKenzey Rogde.

Wilma’s family received family and friends on Saturday, Nov. 30, from 6-8 p.m. with her Celebration of Life immediately following at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Billy Moore and Rev. Richard Mellon officiating.

Her interment was Sunday, Dec. 1, at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Heiskell at 2 p.m. with Lonnie Sherwood, Scott Emerson, Josh Richard, Christopher Williams, Dalton Wyatt, and Josh Smith serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jones Mortuary. Jones Mortuary in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
