Robert "Kelley" Stout

Robert “Kelley” Stout

Robert “Kelley” Stout Jr., age 46, of Pigeon Forge, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013.

He was born Nov. 11, 1966, in Oak Ridge, the son of Robert Kelley Stout Sr. and Joyce Mae Adams Stout of Oak Ridge.

Kelley grew up in Calvary Baptist Church of Oak Ridge and was a member of Batley Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. He was a well-known entertainer and singer in the Pigeon Forge area, performing at Classic Country, Kickin’ Country, Lumberjack Feud, Smoky Mountain Opry, Dixie Stampede, and the Blackwood’s Breakfast Show.

His contagious laughter and fun-loving attitude was a pleasure to all who ever knew him. He loved his children and his family with all his heart. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by son and daughter, Elijah Grey Stout and Emma Lea Stout and their mother, Lori French, all of Dunlap, Tenn.; sisters, Gayle Jones and husband Larry of Oak Ridge, and Ginger Stout of Knoxville; nieces, Julie Jones Monday and husband John of Knoxville, Allison Jones Morgan and husband Daniel of Oak Ridge, and Geri Jones Hopper and husband Terry of Clinton; several great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of extended family. He is also survived by special friends, Suzette Nolan of Knoxville, Zena Yank and daughter Ashley of Pigeon Forge, and many other friends, too numerous to mention.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 3, from 1–3 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Steve McDonald and Rev. Luke Kidwell officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.

The family asks that any memorials be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, PO Box 11772, Knoxville, TN 37939.

Weatherford Mortuary of Oak Ridge is in charge of the arrangements. An online guestbook can be signed at www.weatherfordmortuary.com.
