Seven arrested at alleged meth lab on Oliver Springs Highway

Seven people were arrested Wednesday afternoon at an alleged methamphetamine laboratory on Oliver Springs Highway, authorities said.

Anderson County Sheriff’s Department deputies went to the home on a drug investigation and found an active meth lab, Sheriff Paul White said in a press release.

All seven were charged with initiation of meth manufacturing, promotion of meth manufacturing, and criminal conspiracy, and they are being held in the Anderson County Detention Facility with bonds pending their arraignments.

White said investigators were on the scene for about three hours conducting the investigation and cleaning up. The residence was also quarantined. This case is still under investigation, and no additional information can be released at this time, the sheriff said.

Two of the suspects, Brittaney Michelle Blankenblicker, 26, of Jacksboro, and Gary Lynn Gregory Goodman, 27, of Caryville, also are being held for outstanding warrants in Campbell County.

One suspect, Michael Edward Weiss, 30, of Clinton, has an extensive arrest record with other prior methamphetamine charges along with numerous felonies including burglary and theft offenses, White said.

The press release said three of the suspects—Goodman, Jamie Lynn Fleisch, 30, of Clinton, and Timothy Dale Leinart, 40, of Clinton—also have previous arrests.

The other two charged are Daniel Glenn Lewis, 41, of Oliver Springs Highway in Clinton, and Jean Ann Lewis, 40, also of Oliver Springs Highway in Clinton.
