Play begins on Sept. 9, and applications are due by Aug. 12. There will be singles, doubles, and mixed doubles play. In addition, ORTC is offering a “Scramble” in which a coordinator will combine individuals into different combinations of partners and opponents for doubles play each week.

For more information, visit the ORTC web site at oakridgetennisclub.org or the Oak Ridge Tennis Club Facebook page, or send an e-mail to oakridgetennisclub@gmail.com.

In the Spring 2013 leagues, Blaine Stewart edged out Mirko Remec for the A SIngles title. In B Singles, Bob Cook and Skip Hanline tied for first place. In Women’s Doubles, Marcy Cox and Amanda Smith won, with Julie Rogoish and Zina Townley close behind. The Mixed Doubles title went to Laura and Arnold Graves; the runner-up team was Kathy Stephens and Don Luigs. The title in Men’s Doubles division will have to wait for a deciding match in August between the team of Igor and Mirko Remec and the team of Hamilton Hunter and Rangan Sukumar.
