Brenda Rowe has been named office and fiscal services manager for The Roane Alliance.

Rowe has been working for The Roane Alliance since July of last year, after working in the public relations office at Roane State Community College in Harriman.

“Brenda has been a great addition to Team Alliance,” said Leslie Henderson, Alliance president and chief executive officer, “and with her attention to detail, it just made sense to make her our office manager, in addition to her keeping our books.”

Rowe grew up in northwest Mississippi and moved to Rockwood in 1991 with her husband when he was transferred to East Tennessee with his job.

In addition to Roane State, Rowe’s work history has included city, county and government offices. The mother of one grown daughter and two wonderful grandchildren, Rowe is most proud of her granddaughter who recently joined the U.S. Navy and is now deployed in Japan.

The Roane Alliance is Roane County’s economic development organization and consists of both public and private organizations, including the Roane County Chamber of Commerce, the Roane County Industrial Development Board, and the Roane County Visitors’ Bureau.
