James Edwin Bullock, age 75, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, April 3, at Methodist Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 26, 1937, in Washington, Ga., the son of John W. and Lois Denard Bullock, both of whom preceded him in death.
Mr. Bullock was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1955 to 1959. He worked for many years with Southern Railroad and also with Stanley Jones Construction Co. in Liberty, Ky., where he was a sheet metal mechanic.
He was a member of Robertsville Baptist Church. He spent his pastime on the citizens band radio and was known by his handle, “Shamrock.” He also enjoyed participation in flight simulations.
He is survived by daughters, Leigh Ann Steele of Oliver Springs, Lisa Bullock of Indian Trail, N.C., and Elizabeth Wolfe of Powell; step-daughter, Donna Winton and step-son Scotty Isham, both of Harriman; sister, Joyce B. Searcy and husband Charles of Gallatin, Tenn.; grandchildren, Chase Steele, Simone Steele, Leslie Wolfe, Jennifer Crabtree, Danielle Crabtree, and David Crabtree; step-grandchildren, Torie Rains and Holden Winton of Harriman; seven great-grandchildren; and very dear friend, Sue Rains of Harriman and nephews Charles Ryan Searcy Jr., and wife Kim of Stowe, Ohio, and Chris Searcy and wife Lillie of Hendersonville, Tenn.
