Information from WYSH Radio

Janelle Arthur of Oliver Springs had another strong performance on Tuesday night’s edition of “American Idol.”

Arthur, one of the last 10 women remaining in the competition, impressed the judges with what they call her “traditional country voice” and prompted Mariah Carey to label her “America’s Sweetheart.”

Tonight, the last 10 male contestants will take the stage.

On Thursday, America learns who will be in the final 10.

You can vote for Janelle Arthur or any of the contestants by visiting www.americanidol.com/vote.

Arthur has an American Idol Facebook page, and the City of Oliver Springs has also been following her progress on the popular television show.

She picked the hardest Elvis song to sing ever. This was a song even Elvis had to really work at to sing. But she did a decent job. I hope she goes through but I am afraid the American Idol voters are the same people that voted for Obama. If so This season is over for me.
