The Soccer Club of Oak Ridge is offering a soccer academy in March for boys and girls between 5 and 8 years old.
The academy includes eight weeks of training that starts March 19 at Katie Hunter Field in Oak Ridge.
“Learn to play in a competitive environment with qualified, experienced coaches,” the nonprofit club said. “We have openings for SCOR’s U8 Girls Academy Elite Team, U9 Girls Academy Elite Team, U8 Boys Academy Elite Team, and U9 Boys Academy Elite Team.”
The boys and girls academy is for children from 5 to 6 years old, and the boys and girls academy elite teams are for children from 7 to 8 years old.
The training will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from March 19 to May 11 at Katie Hunter Field. There will be games on Saturdays.
The fee is $60 for children who are 5 to 6 years old, and $115 for children who are 7 to 8. A T-shirt is included.
