This year’s Catch the Leprechaun 5K, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, has moved to Melton Lake Park, organizers said.

The 5K is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, March 9. The race course will follow Melton Lake Drive and greenway, a press release said.

All event participants will be timed, and prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories, including overall male and female winners and top finishers by age group, the press release said. Each participant will receive a commemorative T-shirt.

This year’s event is part of the Look and See Tennessee Grand Prix Race Series.

Registration is now under way. The cost is $25 person until Feb. 22, and $30 from Feb. 23 until race day. Online registration is available at www.runnerreg.net. For more information, call Kayla Shelby at (865) 556-2568.
