Dog owners in Oak Ridge can vote in a contest to build a dog park in our city. PetSafe is having a contest called “Bark for Your Park†in which the winning city is given $100,000 to build a dog park, according to an Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department press release.
The first phase of voting ends June 13.
“To vote, go to www.petsafe.net and vote for Oak Ridge. It really is that simple,†said Recreation and Parks Director Josh Collins. “You can vote every day at this site and at www.facebook.com/petsafebrand. This gives us twice as many daily votes.â€
For more information, visit the PetSafe website or the “We want a dog park in Oak Ridge†Facebook page.

Already too many dogs in OR city limits. The bark all night. Every drug dealer in town owns at least one pit bull.
Hey, city council, chickens don’t crow–and they don’t need a rooster to lay eggs(one of nature’s perfect foods for humans).
