Jeffery Wayne Byrge

Jeffery Wayne Byrge, age 48, a resident of Coalfield, went home to be with his heavenly Father, Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge

Jeffery was born April 13, 1964, in Oak Ridge. He was a lifelong resident of Coalfield.

Mr. Byrge was a carpenter in the construction business. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Audie Byrge and Odessa Adkins Byrge, and by a brother, Gary Lynn Byrge.

Jeffery is survived by a daughter, Jessica Byrge and fiancee’ Adam Burchfield of Oak Ridge; by a grandchild, Isaac Burchfield of Oak Ridge; by sisters; Denia Armes of Powell and Mildred Roysden of Oak Ridge; by a brother, Billy Byrge and wife Rorrye of Oak Ridge; by special friends, Silas Campbell, Shelby Lowe, and Ronnie Racoli; and by nieces and nephews, Robia and Bobbie Armes of Claxton, Audra Devaney and husband Tony of Andersonville, Tosha Roysden of Claxton, Gary Joe Russell and wife Cassi of Oak Ridge, and Jeremiah, Joshua, and Justice Byrge, all of Oak Ridge. He is also survived by several great-nieces, several great-nephews and other special friends.

The family received friends Monday, Jan 28, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral followed at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. James Adkins officiating.

Burial and graveside services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. at the Estes Cemetery in Coalfield.
