Betty L. Justice, age 74, a resident of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord, Jan. 6, at Tennova Residential Hospice in Halls.
Mrs. Justice was born Oct. 11, 1938 in Oliver Springs. She was a lifelong resident of this area.
Betty was a faithful Christian and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the church choir. In addition to spoiling her grandchildren, her hobbies included quilting, doll making, computer games, and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Garvan W. Walls Sr. and Mary Hill Walls, and by a brother, Tommy J. Walls.
Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Justice of Harriman; by sons, Jerry Crowe and wife Tammy of Kingston, and Tony Justice and wife Connie of Oliver Springs; by grandchildren, Ashley Crowe of Knoxville, Jamie Schroder and husband John of Georgia, Alex Crowe of Kingston, and Brandy Justice of Oliver Spring;, and by great-grandchildren, Reagan and Sean Ross.
She is also survived by a sister, Catherine Adcock of Knoxville; by brothers, Pastor Garvan W. Walls Jr. and wife Gail of Oliver Springs, and Johnny Walls and wife Debbie of Harriman; and by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and special friends.
Burial and graveside services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Pastor Garvan Walls officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Pisgah Printing Ministry, 107 Old Hen valley Road, Oliver Springs, TN 37840.
