Timothy J. Massey

Timothy J. Massey, age 49, a resident of Harriman, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, at Methodist Medical Center.

Mr. Massey was born in Ft. Myers, Fla., on the 12th day of July, 1963. He has lived in Harriman for the past 25 years.

Tim was employed at Coors-Tek as a machine operator for the past seven years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thurmond Massey, and by a brother, Wesley Rummans.

Tim is survived by his wife of 28 years, Donna Walker Massey of Harriman; by a daughter, Amanda Nicole Davis and husband John of Clinton; by a son, Edward Van and wife Shannon of Greenville, Ky.; and by grandchildren, McKenna Rae Smith and Alec Timothy Smith of Greenville, Ky.

He is also survived by two brothers, Gregory R. Massey and wife Lena of Temple, Ga., and James Taylor of Chattanooga; and by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, Dec. 18, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Will Gouge officiating.

Burial and graveside services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Harriman.
