Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 1, reservations available

The 13th Annual Breakfast with Santa will be at the Grove Theater on Dec. 1.

The breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m. It’s hosted by the Oak Ridge Youth Advisory Board and Grove Theater.

Organizers suggest a $5 donation per participants from ages 3 and up, payable at the door. The activities include a breakfast buffet, Christmas crafts, holiday movies in the theater, and photos with Santa.

“The City Youth Advisory Board is excited about this new partnership with the Grove Theater,” said Matt Reedy, the city staff’s liaison to the YAB. “The event has always been held in the Civic Center gymnasium, which makes it difficult to decorate and to expand on theme options. The Grove Theater location allows for a great event atmosphere, while freeing up the Civic Center gym for our growing basketball programs.”

Reedy said families look forward to Breakfast with Santa every year, and spots fill up quickly.

For reservations, call (865) 425-3450 or stop by the Civic Center front desk. You can also email your reservation request to Reedy at mreedy@oakridgetn.gov. Reservation time slots are available at either 8:30 a.m. or at 9:45 a.m.

T. Whigham Photography will be there to take photos with Santa for a small fee.
