Volunteers have organized a free community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday.
The dinner is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Historic Grove Theater at 123 Randolph Road in Oak Ridge. Reservations are not required.
“Everyone should have someone to give thanks with on Thanksgiving!” a press release said.
Organizers of this event will not be making deliveries, the press release said. “However, individuals who are aware of specific needs in our community are welcome to bring guests to the dinner or pick up and deliver meals to such individuals who may be unable to travel,” the release said.
Those interested in attending, volunteering, or donating funds can find more information at OakRidgeCommunityThanksgiving.com or the Facebook page of the same name. Questions can also be sent to [email protected] or using text to (865) 384-5683.
More information will be added as it becomes available.
