Historic Downtown Clinton celebrated the completion of new landscaping that draws attention to the gateway sign on Main Street.

“Our committee felt this was an important project to welcome people to the Historic District,” a press release said. “WADEscapes Total Lawn and Landscape Management did an amazing job designing, building, and planting to make the sign stand out.”

The sign is located in front of the Walgreens on Main Street.

The press release said the upgrade was made possible by a donation from the Hollingsworth Foundation to Historic Downtown Clinton, a nonprofit organization that enhances and preserves the historic district of Clinton. WADEscapes, a local landscaping company, also made a donation in upgrades to the landscaping project, the press release said.

“Historic Downtown Clinton is very proud of the local commitment to enhancing our community, and we thank every individual that made this possible,” the press release said.

More information will be added as it becomes available.
