The Secret City Festival will offer free admission to concerts this weekend after daytime activities were canceled because of the resurgence of COVID-19 cases.
The concerts are Jimmie Allen on Friday, September 24, and All-4-One on Saturday, September 25. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the concerts start at 7. The concerts are in Alvin K. Bissell Park in Oak Ridge.
The concerts will be first-come, first-served. Capacity is limited to 50 percent, a press release said.
“Musical headliners this year include recently selected 2021 ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contest and country music singer Jimmie Allen with special guest Josh Kiser on September 24 and Grammy-award winning R&B band All-4-One with special guest The Jaystorm project on September 25.
“The field will be at half capacity to ensure ample room to space out,” the press release said. “Any fans who previously purchased tickets will be reimbursed or given guaranteed access to the VIP section. Festival-goers can still plan to enjoy access to food trucks, a beer garden, and fireworks.
Additional precautions will be announced on the Secret City Festival website.
More information will be added as it becomes available.
