The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education is accepting applications for the 2018 U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s Science, Technology, and Policy Program.

Opportunities are available in the areas of policy and marketing for the Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs.

The deadline to apply is January 18, a press release said.

“These opportunities serve as a next step in the educational and professional development of scientists and engineers interested in energy efficiency and renewable energy policy,” the press release said. “The EERE STP appointments provide an opportunity for highly talented scientists and engineers to participate in policy-related projects at DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Washington, D.C. EERE STP participants apply the expertise gained from their education and history of conducting research to new and ongoing EERE initiatives.”

Post-bachelor’s and post-master’s academic levels are encouraged to apply, the press release said. For more information or to apply, check out the following:
