The Camera Club of Oak Ridge will have its 69th Annual Photographic Salon on display at the New Hope Center at the Y-12 National Security Complex from October 30 to November 9.
The exhibition contains photographs in nine categories from wildlife and landscapes to abstracts and creative development, a press release said.
The New Hope Center is located at 602 Scarboro Road in Oak Ridge. The Salon will be on display there during regular business hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
There will be a reception and gallery walk with comments by the jurors and light refreshments on Friday, November 3, from 7-9 p.m.
“Camera enthusiasts have been showing the public their best photos of the year since 1948,” the press release said. “All entries are judged by a panel of professionals and best of show awards are given in three divisions. This year, an additional student competition was introduced, and the prizes in this category will be awarded during the reception.
“Don’t miss this amazing show featuring the talent of photographers of the whole region!”
