Suck It Up Buttercup KTM 5k Bibs May 7 2017

The Suck It Up Buttercup KTM 5k in Oak Ridge on Sunday, May 7, will be in memory of Kerry Trammell.

The run is presented by Road Kill Timing and United Way of Anderson County.

Kerry Trammell was an active member of the Oak Ridge and Anderson County community. He was involved in almost everything around town, a press release said.

“He was passionate about senior services, emergency response and the beautiful greenways and parks,” the press release said.

The funds raised will help United Way fund programs that were important to Trammell and to which he dedicated his life.

United Way of Anderson County is a local nonprofit dedicated to advancing the common good by supporting programs and agencies that focus on youth development, self-sufficiency, and senior and health services—the building blocks of a healthy community, the press release said.

Here’s what’s new for 2017:

  • Competitive teams—Top three team members scored, with at least one being female.
  • Referrals—Get your registration money back! Refer 5 runners and get $10 back.
  • Youth registration—Runners under 12, $15 registration.

You can see the Road Kill Timing website here. You can register for the Suck It Up Buttercup KTM 5k here.

More information will be added as it becomes available.
