On Monday, October 10, six local restaurants will donate a portion of their sales to support Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties, or ADFAC. The event, Dine & Donate, happens on the second Monday of each month.

“Dine & Donate is a very important fundraiser for ADFAC,” said Cande Seay, Dine & Donate chair. “It always gladdens my heart to see friends and family dine out on second Mondays—enjoying meals together and helping ADFAC!”

Participating restaurants on Monday, October 10, are:

  • Hoskins in Clinton
  • Mediterranean Delight in Oak Ridge
  • Riverview Grill in Clinton
  • Soup Kitchen in Oak Ridge
  • Razzleberry’s in Oak Ridge
  • Which Wich in Oak Ridge

Over 20 local restaurant locations are participating in Dine & Donate throughout 2016, and the event is sponsored by Leidos, UT-Battelle, Enrichment Federal Credit Union, ORNL Federal Credit Union, Randy McFarland—State Farm Agent, and J&M’s Butcher Shop, with media support provided by Oak Ridge Today.

Proceeds from Dine & Donate support ADFAC’s work to help the less fortunate in our community with services including short-term utility assistance, school supplies for K-12 students, home repairs for elderly homeowners, and much more. ADFAC answers more than 6,000 requests for assistance each year. For more information, please visit www.adfac.org.
