Roane State Community College Workforce Development will offer LabVIEW Core 1 and 2 courses June 20-August 17 at the college’s Oak Ridge campus.

Classes will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m.

LabVIEW Core 1 introduces students to the LabVIEW environment, dataflow programming, and common LabVIEW development techniques in a hands-on format. Students will learn to develop data acquisition, instrument control, data-logging, and measurement analysis applications.

LabVIEW Core 2 is an extension of Core 1 and teaches students to use common design patterns to successfully implement and distribute LabVIEW applications for research, engineering, and testing environments. Topics covered include programmatic control of the user interface, techniques to optimize reuse of existing code, use of file I/O functions, and tools to create executables and installers.
