Obituary: Mary Jean Resch

Mary Jean Resch, age 62, of Oak Ridge, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at her home.

Mary was born June 4, 1953, in New York City and graduated as valedictorian from Marist College in 1980. She retired from Xerox several years ago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George McAlonie, and parents, Eugene and Jayne Resch.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Anna and Rachel, both of Oak Ridge, and brother, Gregory Resch of New York.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Mary’s life at noon on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at All Saints Catholic Church, 620 North Cedar Bluff Road in Knoxville, Tennessee, with Father Michael Woods officiating.

An online register book can be signed at www.FrakerFuneralHome.net. Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston is in charge of all the arrangements.
