There will be a community tour of Oak Ridge Schools on Tuesday, August 25, and 20 slots are available.
“Come visit elementary, middle, and high school classrooms,” a press release said. “See how Oak Ridge teachers and students are teaching and learning while school is in session.”
The tour is scheduled from 8 a.m.-2:45 p.m. Tuesday, August 25.
The day will begin at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, then will proceed through an elementary, middle, and high school for classroom visits. Lunch will be provided.
The tour will include a discussion with Parker Hardy of the Chamber of Commerce and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) in the Oak Ridge community. There will also be a question-and-answer session with district administrators before the tour concludes at 2:45.

Kay Williamson says
if it’s a community event why is only 20 spots available? Why not have an Open House?
Joseph Lee says
Put me down for one spot.
It will be fun.
Thank you.
