Recently-graduated Anderson County High School running back Matt Fox, a punishing runner who led the state in rushing each of the past two seasons, is one of six East Tennessee athletes who will be honored on August 4 during the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Fox is one of three Male Athlete of the Year honorees.

Three female athletes will also be recognized.

Fox will play his college football at East Tennessee State University.
