The Methodist Medical Center Foundation’s fun, new event—“In It to Win Itâ€â€”is just a week away, but Tic Tacs and rubber bands were already flying when the Games Committee, led by Oak Ridge Schools Assistant Superintendant Chris Marczak, did a test run on Wednesday.
“In It to Win It†features 60-second party games, which take ordinary objects and turn them into challenges between you and your fellow guests. Bring your best sense of balance, coordination, aim, and humor for these creative challenges.
This casual evening will be emceed by Oak Ridge High School football coach Joe Gaddis. The event will also feature food, silent and live auctions, and prizes for the game winners.
In It to Win It will take place Saturday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Tech 2020, which is at 1020 Commerce Park Drive in Oak Ridge.
Tickets are $75 per person or $125 per couple, and proceeds benefit the Hospitality Houses of Methodist Medical Center, which provide temporary lodging for patients and families traveling long distances for medical treatment.
