Judd Thomas Brown, age 59, of Oak Ridge, passed away at his home on Monday, March 16.
He was born in Oak Ridge on April 20, 1955, to parents Vivian Loftis and Emogene Judd Brown.
Judd was a member of Kern Memorial United Methodist Church, was very active as an amateur radio operator “AB4DC,” enjoyed everything about nature, enjoyed his Boston terriers, and target shooting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vivian Loftis Brown and Emogene Judd Brown.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Peggy Brown of Oak Ridge;Â son, Mark Brown, of Oak Ridge; stepsons, Greg and Adam Bunch of Athens, Tennessee; sister, Allison Rose Wood and husband Ronald of King George, Virginia, and their children, Sara and Erika; grandchild, Autumn Marie Brown; step-grandchildren, Emily, Logan, Mason, and Caleb Bunch; and a host of friends who loved him dearly.
The receiving of friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Kern Memorial United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Weatherford Mortuary, 158 South Jefferson Circle, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
