Obituary: Wilma Geraldine Allison

Wilma Geraldine Allison, age 81, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Monday, January 26, at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Allison was born March 6, 1933, in Oliver Springs. She was a lifelong resident of this area.

Wilma was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also an avid pet lover. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle Sands Nation and James Anderson Nation, by her husband, Glen Allison, by grandsons, Christopher Allen Gann and Freeman Ray Davis, by a sister, Mildred Sparks and by brothers, Leonard Nation, Earl Nation, Jack Nation, and Fred Nation.

Mrs. Allison is survived by daughters, Della Budde and husband Brent of Claremont, IL, Wilma Moroz and husband Jim, of Sevierville, Glenda Allison and companion Shane Simonds, of Clinton; by sons, Danny Davis of Oliver Springs, Ray Davis of Chattanooga, Jim Davis and companion Robin, of Cleveland, TN, and Donald Wayne Rose and wife Joy, of Clinton; and by 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grand-children, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by a brother Roy Nation and wife Ruby of Oliver Springs, by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of special friends.

The family received friends Friday, January 30, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral followed at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Rick Nation officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Saturday, January 31, at 11 a.m. at Oliver Springs Cemetery.
