Eleanor Louise Felts Hunter

Louise went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, passing peacefully at home surrounded by family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gerald and her brother Roland Felts.

Louise was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and spent most of her life as a witness for the glory of God. Her works included over 30 years as a representative of the American Bible Society.

She is survived by her five children, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren: son Jerry and his wife Kris of Prior Lake, Minnesota; daughter Judy Sharp and husband Don of Oak Ridge; son Bob and his wife Susan of Charlotte, North Carolina; son Bill and his wife Connie of Roanoke, Virginia; and daughter Betsye Robinette of Marion, Indiana.

Friends and family were received Saturday, January 24, at 1 p.m. First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. with interment immediately after at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, gifts be made to the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in her name. The family would also like to thank Jane Brown, Debbie Mynatt, Teresa Taylor, and Barbara Gardner for their care and support over the last year.

See Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home for more information.
