The Stone Soup Ministry team at Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church will be serving a free community meal on Friday, November 28, at its new location at 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike in Oak Ridge. Dine-in or take-out will be available in the ORUUC Social Hall from 5 to 6 p.m.

Everyone is invited for the meal of harvest soup and turkey breast sandwiches, a press release said. Fresh fruit and pastries provided by Kroger will be served for dessert.

Free gently used winter coats and jackets contributed from the Jewish Congregation of Oak Ridge will be available for anyone who needs them.

The Stone Soup Free Community Meal is offered on the final Friday of each month from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Church Social Hall.

For more information about the November 28 meal, call the ORUUC office at (865) 483-6761.
