CASA’s fifth annual Evening with the Arts is Friday, October 10.

It’s scheduled from 7-10 p.m. at Melton Lake Park.

“(The park) will be transformed from the Oak Ridge riverfront to New Orleans!” a press release said.

Tickets include wine and New Orleans-style food—including shrimp and grits.

“Get a caricature drawn of you and your date, commission some personalized jewelry, hit the photo booth, all while listening to live jazz,” the press release said. “Hit the dance floor for Dixieland band—Jack Russell and the Terriers! The evening will be kept on track by the ever-entertaining Kenneth Herring.”

The local art silent auction will include a Bill Capshaw raku vase, locally crafted jewelry, and unique photography pieces. The live auction will include a group art experience, the release said.

“Buy a bottle of wine from our wine garden for just $20, and you might take home a bottle worth $1,000! Try a glass of champagne for just $10, and you might find a half carat diamond attached!”

Tickets are $40 each or $75 a couple—available online at www.casatnh.org, by calling the administrative office at (865) 425-0888, or by stopping by one of the CASA offices.

“We are looking forward to seeing you there,” the release said.
