Dennis “Denny” Wayne Collins
Dennis “Denny” Wayne Collins, 61, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Thursday, August 28.
He was born on September 12, 1952, in Chattanooga to parents Ernest and Mary “Liz” McNelley Collins.
Denny was self-employed as a carpenter and enjoyed bird watching, travel, being with friends, camping, and hiking.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Liz Collins.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Parham Collins, of Oak Ridge; daughters, Jazmine Leigh Collins, Oak Ridge, and Angie Allin; stepdaughter, Stephanie Lynn Johnson (Joseph), of Harriman; stepson, Robert James Lenderman, of Harriman; brothers, Larry Collins (Norma), of Oak Ridge, and Randy Collins, of Oak Ridge; and grandchild, Camden Jace Collins, of Oak Ridge.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 15, from 7 to 8 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 8 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Steve McDonald officiating.
