Obituary: Thomas Howard Gunter

Thomas Howard Gunter, age 48, a resident of Oak Ridge, passed away Tuesday, August 5, at his home.

Thomas was born November 15, 1965, in Conyers, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances W. Kelley Gunter Smith.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Kristen Gunter of Oak Ridge; by a son, Christopher England of Atlanta; by a daughter, Trisha Nikole Gunter of Oak Ridge; by a grandson, Jaylen Daniel England; and by his father, Frederick Gunter of Atlanta.

He is also survived by sisters, Susan Smith of Conyers, Georgia, and Samantha Padgett of Eatonton, Georgia; by a brother, Kenneth Gunter of Conyers, Georgia; and by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to www.gofundme.com/cnwatw.
