Obituary: William Dillard Campbell

William Dillard Campbell, age 56, of Lafollette, passed away Friday, July 25, at Tennova Lafollette Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bessie Campbell; sister, Evelyn McCulley; brothers, Chester, Lester, and George Campbell; and brother-in-law, Hershell Lovely.

Dillard owned Campbell Tree Service and enjoyed cleaning house, fishing, and boating. He had lots of friends and considered himself as a “good ole country boy who was good at heart and loved God and Jesus.”

He is survived by his loving sister, Frances Lovely of Lafollette; brothers, Paul (Irene) Campbell of Lafollette, Silas Campbell of Oak Ridge, James (Pauline) Campbell of Marlow, and Matthew (Ivonne) Campbell of West Virgina; special niece, Sheila (Payne) Lovett, and several nieces, nephews, and many good friends.

A “Celebration of Life” Reception for family and friends will be held at Jackson Funeral Services in Oliver Springs on Saturday, August 2, from 4 to 6 p.m.
