The Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department is sponsoring the 9th Annual Memory Magic Scrapbook event at the Oak Ridge Civic Center on September 26 and 27.

The event will include vendors, classes, and a large crop area. Online registration will open August 20 and will continue until September 20. Walk-in registration begins on September 26 at 8 a.m.

There is limited seating in the crop area and in each classroom. Class information will be posted on the website by August 20. The crop area will open at 8 a.m. each morning and close at 11:30 p.m. on Friday and 11 p.m. on Saturday.

Participants will receive a crop space, an event tote, light snacks during the evening hours, and tickets for prize drawings. Catered dinners will be served both evenings for an additional fee. The cost to crop is $30 for one day or $50 for both days.

Vendors will open for business by 9 a.m. each morning. Vendors include home party businesses, scrapbook stores, and general craft stores. The vendor area is open to the general public for shopping from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shopping after 6 p.m. is for paid participants only.

Event organizers are currently accepting vendor applications. Booth fees are $100 for a 10×10 and $175 for a 10×20. Vendors must sell only scrapbook or craft related items.

Classes will be offered Friday and Saturday. Cost for the first class is $20. There will be a discount for each additional class selected. Reduced rates for combo packages of classes and cropping will be available at registration.
