Obituary: Sandra McMahan

Sandra McMahan, age 75, of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at her residence.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. Sandra was an avid reader, enjoyed working in the yard, and flower gardening. She was of the Baptist faith.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Frederca Roberts; husband, Samuel Scott McMahan Jr.; daughter, Deborah Louise Jackson; and sister, Cookie.

Sandra is survived by her sons, Samuel McMahan Jr. and Rita of Powell, Leonard Clyde McMahan and Angie of Andersonville, Curtis Dale McMahan of Lake City; daughters, Judy Sizemore and Roy of Lake City, Pamela Elrod and Dale of Clinton, Peggy Gardinier of Lafollette, Ginnie Irwin and Ricky of Heiskell, Lisa McGhee and David of Lake City, Susie Burks of Oak Ridge; and four brothers, five sisters, 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

At Sandra’s request, there will be no services. Jones Mortuary in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
