Atomic Energy is a LIFE magazine exhibition Last Day!

This exhibition was prepared in 1948 in consultation with the United States Atomic Energy Commission. Artifacts displayed are the exhibits shipping crate, an exhibition pamphlet stamped American Museum of Atomic Energy and several books mentioned in the pamphlet. Registration Open for AMSE Science Explorer Camp Last Day!

DOE Facilities Bus Tour June 2 August 29

Location: This bus tour will depart from the American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE) 300 South Tulane Avenue.

This tour is free with paid admission to AMSE. Dates: Monday-Friday from June 2 thru August 29.

This tour explores the original Manhattan Project sites around Oak Ridge and tells the history behind the development of the worlds first atomic weapon. Ballroom Dancing – Every Monday, 6:30 p.m.

Ninja 5K Race to Support the Wounded Warriors Project and Oak Ridge Graduation Celebration June 28

The Ninja 5K is a 3.1 mile race or walk. The race course is very flat and accessible for all ages and abilities. The race will be timed, but both runners and walkers are encouraged to participate.
