Obituary: Charles Eric Rains

Charles Eric Rains, age 55 of Oak Ridge, passed away on April 26 in Oak Ridge.

He was born to parents Charlotte Shorter Rains and Virgil Rains on April 8, 1959 in Mayfield, Kentucky.

He was a veteran with the U.S. Navy and worked as an electrician at various locations through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers # 270.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and by his older brother Greg.

His survivors include daughter, Erika Rains, of South Africa and brother, Randy Rains, of Virginia.

The memorial service will be held Friday, May 2, 4 p.m. at the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church in Clinton.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be in the form of donations to, First Baptist Church, 225 N. Main Street, Clinton, TN 37716.
