Obituary: Shirley Ann Daugherty

Shirley Ann Daugherty, age 77, of Oliver Springs passed away early Wednesday morning, April 23, 2014, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Tuppertown Baptist Church. Shirley loved crocheting and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Bryson and Lucille Pride; husband, Lonald Daugherty; sons, Lonald Joe and Lonald Jack Daugherty; brothers, Carl and Jim Pride, and Joe and his wife Diane Pride; and sister, Mildred Pride.

She is survived by her son, John Daugherty and wife Tammy; daughters, Sheila Eason, and Sherenia Napier and husband Mark; brothers, George Pride and wife Diane, and Phillip Pride and wife Teresa; sisters, Kay Grimes and husband Jan, and Fay Russell and husband Dick; sister-in-law, Bethie Pride; brothers-in-law, Don Daugherty and wife Jenny, and Conley Daugherty and wife Nell; grandchildren, Sarah Potter, Scott Potter and wife Kolenya, Cody Eason, Samantha Lloyd and husband Adam, Sierra Bunch and husband Dereck, Benson Napier, Abigail Daugherty, Lucas Daugherty; great-grandchildren, Callie Bunch, Kelsey Potter, and Ansley Potter; special friends, Brenda Daugherty and Sue Pride Byrge; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25, at 11 a.m. in the Oliver Springs City Cemetery with Bro. Ralph Wilson officiating.
