Agnes L. Justice

Agnes L. Justice, age 89, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Briarcliff Health Care Center in Oak Ridge.

Mrs. Justice was born March 17, 1925, in New River. She and her family moved to Oliver Springs in 1951, where she has continued to live.

She was employed as a supply tech at both the Harriman Hospital and Methodist Medical Center, and before her retirement, she worked as a dispatcher at the Oak Ridge Public Transit System.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a member of the Kelly Town Baptist Church.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Lowe and Tencie Duncan Lowe; by her husband, Dean Justice; by daughters, Juanita and Shirley Justice, and Peggy Gibson; by sisters, Euvene Justice, Faye Crass, and Nadine Lowe; and by a brother, Clinton Lowe.

She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Justice of Oliver Springs; by sons, Kenneth Justice of Oliver Springs, Terry Justice and wife Lynn, of Andersonville, and Jerry Justice and wife Monday, of Oliver Springs; by grandchildren, Megan Lunsford, Kendra Bunch, Staci Bourff and husband Glenn, James Gibson, Brian Justice, Robbie Steen, Dillon Steen, Jeremy Matthews Justice and wife Lauren; by great-grandchildren, Kaiden Kenneth Bunch, Madison Bourff, Kaylin Gibson, Zane Gibson, Kyleigh Lewallen, Emily Justice, Savanna Justice, Ethan Justice, Lucas Dean Justice, and Callie Lynn Justice.

She is also survived by a special son, Ken Holt of Nashville; by sisters, Hanna McGhee of Coalfield and Julie Lowe of Oliver Springs; and by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and special friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 28, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Kevin Thacker officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 29, at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
