Betty Carolyn Greene

Betty Carolyn Greene, age 67, of Oak Ridge, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 18, at her home.

She was born April 24, 1946, in Greeneville, Tennessee, the daughter of Dana and Minnie Honeycutt Kincaid.

Carolyn was a 1964 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking. Until her health began to fail, she attended Solway Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Paschal “Cotton” Sevard Greene Jr. on April 15, 2010.

She is survived by daughter, Sherri Greene of Oak Ridge; beloved grandson, Jairyd Greene of Knoxville; and sisters, Judy Journeaux and husband Michel of Oak Ridge, Wanda Weaver and husband Clifford of Oak Ridge, Sandra Gibson and husband Robert of Knoxville, Mary London and husband Glenn of Knoxville, and Donna Wright and husband Ray of Loudon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with Glenn London officiating.
