Obituary: Dolores Marlow

Dolores Marlow, age 80, of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Knoxville.

Dolores was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cordice and Sadie (Bunch) Lowe, and great-grandson, Eric Beach.

She is survived by three daughters and one son, Linda and husband Rick Scarbrough of Kingsport, Tenn., LaGretta Aquitina of Kingsport, Tenn., Darrell Marlow and wife Janet of Oak Ridge, and Janet and husband Rodney Brooks of Clinton; sister, Joy Justice of Oliver Springs; and seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Dolores’s family received her friends on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 1-2 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary, with her funeral service following at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tony McAfee officiating. Her interment followed the funeral service at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton.

Jones Mortuary in Clinton was in charge of all arrangements.
