Diana Lynne Neu Stines

Diana Lynne Stines, age 60, of Oliver Springs, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at NHC Health Care Center.

She was born May 3, 1953, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of Carl V. and Phyllis Saunders Neu.

She was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School. Diana has worked at Oak Ridge Associated Universities for more than 30 years in the paymaster department.

She enjoyed working around her house and in her yard, with her special canine child, Cloe, keeping her company. Her greatest passion was spending time and participating in activities with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by brother, Jeff Neu, and granddaughter, Destiny Keathley.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, William B. “Bill” Stines; father, Carl V. Neu; sons, Jeffrey Scott Keathley and James Carl Keathley; brother, Richard H. Neu; aunt, Jo Ray of Portsmouth, Ohio; niece, Robin Melton; nephews, Ricky and Ray Neu; and five grandchildren, Kimberly, Blake, Whitney, Lindsay, and Levi Keathley.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 6–8 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. with Dr. Craig Kallio officiating.

The family asks that any memorials be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. An online guest book can be signed at www.weatherfordmortuary.com.
