Starting this week, a city contractor will be rehabilitating sewer collection pipes within city easements in yards and roadways.

The work will be done by Hurst Excavating. Affected homeowners should have received color-coordinated (orange and purple) letters and door hangers providing general information with contractor contact information, a press release said.

Below is a list of the streets where work will be conducted this week. The weather could cause schedule changes.

East Plant III, Hurst Excavating (orange letter, (865) 922-6142)

  • Thelma Road

East Plant IV, Morgan Contracting Inc. (purple letter, (865) 249-8640, ext, 103)
